What Is ZoomQ?
ZoomQ is a web-based app that makes it easy for guardians and school and daycare staff to dismiss children safely and efficiently at the end of the day! ZoomQ allows guardians to control who can pick up children and to check in for pickups eliminating the need for carline staffing. ZoomQ uses an advanced QView screen to display arrivals on a screen, monitor, tablet, or smartphone so teachers and staff can quickly gather and efficiently release children to the appropriate car.

Only invited and authorized guardians can access the ZoomQ mobile app. When guardians arrive you can rest assured they are approved to pick up the child. Plus, by tracking pickups you always have a record of which child was picked up, by what guardian, and at what time.
It’s Easy.
With just two clicks you can set up a school or daycare account. Once your student and staff data is loaded and guardians are invited you can begin using the app in as little as two days. Easily accessible tutorial videos also help staff and guardians get up to speed quicker.
It’s Efficient!
Guardians notify the school of their arrival and the children they are picking up by typing in a code when they reach the school or via geolocation. With the carline checked in prior to dismissal staff can focus more on organizing students for efficient loading rather than arriving cars.

The ZoomQ Story.
In fall of 2020, an elementary school principal spoke with a local software developer seeking a solution to the end-of-the day student dismissal chaos. She sought a more technological, time-saving car rider pickup system that enhanced student safety.
Drawing upon years of software development experience from the automotive industry, the developer assembled a team that designed a solution to easily identify and track child car riders and their guardians. Thus, ZoomQ was born.
Completing an easy two-step application setup and simple data load, the school quickly started inviting staff and guardians to download the application. Within days the app was up and running. Staff and guardians caught on quickly to the system and were soon enjoying a much better student dismissal user experience.
ZoomQ’s mobile app allows guardians to check themselves in upon arrival reducing carline staffing needs. Watching the QView Screen inside, staff dismiss children from smaller areas or classrooms to the car loading area where staff can organize them for more efficient and faster loading of cars.
Prioritizing child safety, ZoomQ includes email invitation-only access and gives guardians control over who could pick up their children. It’s user-friendly tutorial videos and responsive support also helps parents adapt to the app within days.
Since that initial conversation, ZoomQ has had numerous conversations with schools and daycares. ZoomQ has learned a great deal from those conversations and has had the pleasure of assisting many of them with their dismissal systems.
